Bismarck State College’s Garin Opdahl and Cole Rohrbach took turns breaking the school’s triple jump record Saturday as the indoor track season concluded at the Marauder Tune-Up Indoor Track Meet.

Opdahl and Rohrbach took first and second in triple jump. Making his season debut after recovering from a torn ACL, Opdahl opened with a jump of 12.71 meters (41-8.5) to break Bob Hendrickson’s school record of 12.59 from 1972. Rohrbach then broke the new mark with a 13.09 (42-11.50). Opdahl followed with a 13.15 (43-1.75). Opdahl also set a person best of 11.92 (39-1) in the shot put.
