Long-time BSC athletic director Buster Gilliss will again assume the reigns of the men's basketball program at Bismarck State College. The move is due in part to department restructuring as a result of recent budget cuts.

Although Gilliss hasn't been courtside since 2008, he's had daily contact with junior college athletics in the intervening years. He's served as the BSC athletic director since 1999 and retains a wide network of contacts. Gilliss, an NJCAA Hall of Fame coach, has a record of 503-319.
