Jessie Oja (Bismarck) was awarded the Ed Kringstad scholarship for 2018-19 for her outstanding work in the classroom and on the court. Alec Battest (Beulah) and Liza Doppler (Bismarck) were selected for the Ed Kringstad Athlete's of the Year awards. Their names will be engraved on the wall plaque in the foyer of the BSC Armory. The awards are named for Ed Kringstad who was a Hall of Fame wrestling coaching as well as the long-time athletic director at Bismarck State. (L-R Oja, Battest, Doppler)
Sydney Andersen (Killdeer) was awarded the Frank Bavendick Leadership award for her work mentoring at Lewis & Clark Elementary School and she is also a Mystic Ambassador. Darnell Lefthand (Hardin, MT) and Bailey Wilhelm (Bismarck) were awarded the Frank Bavendick Sportsmanship awards. Their names will be engraved on the wall plaque in the Bavendick Media Room in the BSC Armory. Frank Bavendick was a benevolent supporter and friend of BSC and the athletic department.
