On Thursday, October 10, history was made at Bismarck State College. Jestin Long Feather a member of the first ever Bismarck State College Esports team won the first match in school history. Jestin defeated Kevin "Waffles" Van Der Spek from Utah State University Eastern in Smash Brothers.
Esports Coordinator Casey Mischel had this to say, "This is our first win at the NJCAA level, and I am very proud of Jestin and our entire team. The administration and athletic department have worked hard to make Esports a reality at Bismarck State College and we are looking forward to many more victories."
