BSC Athletic Department is pleased to announce six student-athletes were awarded the prestigious Ed Kringstad and Frank Bavendick Awards for the 2019-2020 academic year. These awards are named for long-time BSC athletic director and coach, Ed Kringstad, and long-time BSC friend and benefactor Frank Bavendick. The award winners' names will be enshrined in two plaques located in the BSC Armory. The award winners are as follows:

Ed Kringstad Academic Scholarship Award – Hart Andes, Plaza, ND

Ed Kringstad Athlete of the Year for women – Amber Stevahn, Bismarck, ND

Ed Kringstad Athlete of the Year for men – Kyler McGillis, St. John, ND

Frank Bavendick Leadership Award – Sydney Andersen, Killdeer, ND

Frank Bavendick Sportsmanship Award for women – Bailee Otterness, Bismarck, ND

Frank Bavendick Sportsmanship Award for men – Devon Headdress, New Town, ND
