Coach McGlauflin Signs Three More State Champions to the Mystics

BSC baseball coach Corby McGlauflin is pleased to announce the signing of three state champion student athletes to national letters of intent.

Trey Rogers is a catcher from Sioux Falls, SD. His Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School squad went a perfect 33-0 and won the Class A State Tournament while finishing with a #10 ranking in the country. His Legion team, the Renner Royals, also made a state appearance with a record of 35-15 this past summer. Trey hit .336 with 13 doubles and 35 RBI's. He is the class president at Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School.

Jake Faircloth and Ryan Bourassa were teammates for the state champions of West Fargo High School this past spring. They were also on the West Fargo Legion team that took 2nd in the prestigious Gopher Classic in the Twin Cities this past July. Added to their stellar high school baseball careers, they were also both key components to the 2017 West Fargo Packer State Championship football team.

Jake is a switch hitting utility player that put up jaw dropping numbers this past spring. He hit .474 while collecting 64 hits, 54 runs scored, and registering 32 RBI's.

Ryan is one of the top pitchers in the state and had an outstanding junior campaign. He went 7-1 while also recording both a perfect game and a no-hitter.

"We couldn't be more excited to have these 3 sign to our program.  We have been recruiting all three for quite some time now and they are all high character guys coming from great programs."
