Coach Michael Keeran is pleased to announce the signing of All-State outfielder, Hunter Pesek, New Hampton, Iowa, to a national letter of intent to play baseball for the Mystics. New Hampton made it to the Class 3A IHSAA state tournament last season, where Pesek hit .426 as a junior with 17 SB's, and 11 XBH, including a HR. He also had 40 RBI's. Pesek is expected to make an immediate impact in the line-up because of his combination of speed and athleticism.

Coach McDonald from New Hampton is one of the best coaches in the state, so I am very confident the learning curve for Hunter to the college game will be very minimal. An All-State wrestler as well, Hunter is a tough kid who is not afraid to work hard.
