Kyle Leapaldt Signs Letter of Intent to Play Baseball for the Mystics

Coach Michael Keeran is pleased to announce the signing of Kyle Leapaldt to a national letter of intent to play baseball for the Mystics. Kyle spent his freshman year at Valley City State University, where during a shortened season he hit .340 with 6 XBH, and a HR. He led the team in 3B's and RBI's. Leapaldt was also 1-2 on the mound with 6 K's in 10 innings of work. Leapaldt is a graduate of Carrington High School where he was an All-State baseball player.

"Kyle is a very talented ball player as a hitter, pitcher, and infielder. He will make an immediate contribution for us hitting in the middle of the order and playing the infield. Kyle has a very sound approach at the plate and can hit for power to all fields. On the mound he is a strike thrower and mixes a mid-80's fastball with a couple of different good off-speed pitches." - Coach Michael Keeran
