Logan Grant Signs Letter of Intent to Play Baseball for the Mystics

Coach Michael Keeran is pleased to announce the signing of Logan Grant to a national letter of intent to play baseball for the Mystics. Logan is a C/3B for the Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Academy, located in Alberta, Canada. The Okotoks Academy is considered one of the top five baseball academies in North America. Grant had a great season last year hitting .365 with a .444 OBP, .432 slugging %, and an OPS of .877. Logan represented Team Alberta in the Canada Cup as a sophomore and junior.

"Logan comes from one of the best academies in the world and he will be ready to come in and win a spot day one because of it. He is very good defensively behind the plate, and he's a really good third baseman, too. He has progressed quite a bit this year with the bat and he brings another talented left-handed bat to our line-up. His ability to play two different positions at a high level will be an advantage for the Mystics. I really like this incoming class and think we have some pretty good pieces to have a successful 2021 season." - Coach Michael Keeran
