Mystics Extend Win Streak To Five

As the Bismarck State College baseball team continued their time in Tuscon, AZ, the team continued their dominating offense, earning them their second straight double header win, this time against Minnesota West Community & Technical College.

The Mystics would only need five innings to get their first win of the day, winning 13-1. Six hitters for the Mystics would record two hits in the game. Tate Mart was one of those six hitters, and would lead the team with four RBIs, while also scoring twice. Jared Bendfeld’s two hits would come with extra bases as he hammered a home run and a triple in the game.

The winning pitcher for the game was Matthew Porter, who would go 3.2 innings, giving up just two hits and one earned run.

The second game would play out a little differently, but would still end up in a 7-5 victory for the Mystics. Bendfeld would add two more hits to his total, including a double. Tyler Lewnau would come across the plate twice, reaching on two extra base hits, a double and a triple.
