Mystics Open Conference Play Splitting Double Header

The Bismarck State College baseball team returned to the field for their first game since their week in Arizona. In a conference match up, the Mystics journeyed to Miles City to face Miles Community College. The two teams would split the doubleheader, with each team getting their wins by just one run.

In the loss for the Mystics, Andrew Niaves, Riley Pearce and Tate Mart would each collect two hits and two RBIs each. Niaves would score three times in the 8-9 loss.

In the victory Wyatt Tweet would lead the team with two hits, scoring twice. Tyler Lewnau drove in two of the teams runs in the 4-3 victory. Kayden Camacho would earn the win, going 5.2 innings, striking out seven and only allowing two hits and three runs. Mason Lunzman earned his second save of the year, stepping in to go 1.1 innings and not allowing a run.

The Mystics face off against Miles Community College again on March 20th.
