Mystics Score Early and Often To Sweep Doubleheader

The offense would start out quick for the Bismarck State College baseball team, as they would score five runs in the first inning of the day, leading the way to the Mystics scoring 30 total runs to defeat North Dakota State College of Science twice on the day.

In game one, the Mystics would see every starter collect at least one hit in the game, resulting in a 16-9 victory. Led by Wyatt Tweet, who would go 3 for 5 with two home runs, and driving in six runs. Nixon Carriere and Riley Pearce would each have three hit games of their own.

The offense would continue into game two, while the pitching would also have its time to shine, as the Mystics would not only score 14 runs, but would shutout the Wildcats offense. Kayden Camacho would earn his fourth win of the season by only allowing one hit, while striking out seven. Tweet again sparked the offense by collecting his third home run of the day in a 2 for 3 outing, driving in another four runs, totaling 10 RBIs on the day.

The Mystics have a record of 25-5 overall, and 17-3 in conference.

The Mystics return home to face off with North Dakota State College of Science again on Sunday, April 21.
