Mystics continue to power their way to victories

For the second day in a row, the Bismarck State College bats would be too much for North Dakota State College of Science to handle, as the Mystics would score 29 runs to complete another weekend sweep.

Wyatt Tweet would lead the Mystics’ offense, who for the second straight day would have a multi home run day. Tweet matched his performance from Saturday with another three home runs, making six on the weekend and 11 for the season.

In total, on the day the Mystics would hit eight home runs on Sunday, to go along with the eight home runs the team hit on Saturday.

The offense wasn’t the only dominant part of the Mystics’ game from the weekend. In the game on 15-1 victory, Matthew Porter would get the win striking out seven hitters, only allowing one run in four innings or work.

The Mystics won game two 14-3, with Carson Zimmel earning the win. Zimmel would strike out seven, allowing three unearned runs in five innings of work.

The Mystics have a record of 27-5 overall, and 19-3 in conference.

The Mystics return to the road to take on Dakota County Technical College in a four-game series April 27 and 28.
