Mystics finish regular season with shutout win

Bismarck State College baseball team had to battle both the weather and Dakota College at Bottineau to end the regular season. What was planned for a double header turned in a single game that the Mystics would win 8-0.

The standout performance of the game came from Carson Zimmel, who dominated on the mound. In seven innings, Zimmel was able to limit the opposition to four hits and no runs, while striking out eight batters.

Offensively, the team was on fire, with notable contributions from Carter Krueger and Tyler Lewnau, each going 1-3 with a home run and driving in two runs. Will Bachman added to the offensive onslaught, driving in two runs of his own.

The Mystics have a record of 29-8 overall, and 20-3 in conference.

The Mystics will begin the postseason at home on May 4.
