Bismarck State College is proud to announce the signing of Eli Thompson to the baseball team. Eli Thompson, a 5’11’’ catcher and right-handed pitcher from Shiloh Christian School in St. Bismarck, ND, has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Mystics in the upcoming season.

Thompson has demonstrated his impressive skills on both sides of the ball. He was a 3-time All Region player and a 2-time All State player in high school. Thompson had a batting average of .369 with an on-base percentage of .514 and a slugging percentage of .500. He also stole 17 bases out of 18 attempts. As a catcher, he had a caught-stealing percentage of .423. As a pitcher, Thompson had an ERA of 3.23 with 26 strikeouts in 13 innings pitched and a batting average against of only .180.
