Esports Makes Playoffs

Bismarck State College Mystics Esports has three teams in the NJCAA playoffs. The three teams are Rocket League, Valorant and Overwatch. The Mystic Esports teams will start playoffs next week. They are coached by Casey Mischel and Lance Geving. You can watch the games at twitch.tv/bismarckstate_mystics

 

The Valorant team finished the regular season with a 9-1 record and will play Navarro College on November 29th at 6 pm. The athletes competing on the Valorant team are Kennan Welder, Adam Hoffman, John Lapp, Robert Modin, Paul Gellerman, Evan Chaffee, and Kaleb Klein. This year’s Rocket League team made the playoffs for the first time in school history. They went 6-5 during the regular season and will play Nassau Community College on November 29th at 7 pm.The athletes on the Rocket League are Caden Headlee, Jacob Hendrickson, and Michael Hallquist. The Overwatch team went 8-2 during the regular season. They will play Wake Technical Community College on December 2nd at 7 pm. The athletes on the Overwatch are Kennan Welder, Adam Hoffman, Chris Heyd, Robert Modin, Paul Gellerman, and Evan Chaffee.
