Bismarck State College has added four players to the men's basketball roster. Grant Kohlus of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, Larry McCormick of Hardin, MT, Kalean Johnson of Peoria, IL, and Larry Smith of Peoria, IL, will play next season for the Mystics.
Kohlus led the state of South Dakota with a 26.8 points per game average while earning All-State honors and leading the Braves to a 15-6 record. McCormick averaged 13 points per game while leading the Bulldogs to a 4th place Montana State Tournament finish. Johnson averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game for Richwoods High School while earning All-Area, All-Conference, and All-Conference Academic Team honors for the Knights. Smith averaged 14 points and 5 rebounds per game while leading the Manuel Academy Rams to the Illinois State Tournament and receiving player of the year honors.
