Kyler McGillis Signs Letter of Intent to Play Basketball for the Mystics

St. John stand-out and Mr. Basketball runner-up Kyler McGillis has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Mystics next season. An All-State First Team selection, the 6' 1" combo guard averaged 28.6 ppg and 4 apg. McGillis was a unanimous All-State Tournament pick as he led the Woodchucks to a third place finish at the State Class B Tournament. He is also named to the Lion's All Star Team.

Coach Buster Gilliss stated that Kyler is a solid, versatile, and high visibility player who will fit in nicely to the Mystics' up-tempo style of play. McGillis is the third Mr. Basketball candidate garnered by the Mystics in the past two seasons and will join sophomores Tronis McKay and KyJuan Johnson next season.
