Bismarck State College has announced the signing of Trapper Jacobs of Turtle Lake-Mercer/McClusky to a national letter of intent to play basketball next season for the Mystics. The 6'2" guard averaged 24.2 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists this past season for the Trojans, playing for Coach Joi Anderson. Jacobs was named the Region 5 Boys' Basketball Senior Athlete of the Year and was also named to the 2018 Class B All-State team. Trapper is the son of Lonnie and Lesley Jacobs and plans to major in business administration.
