Bismarck State College announces the signing of Jesse Chase and Ashton Grady of Mandaree to national letters of intent to play basketball next season for the Mystics. The pair of guards led the Warriors to the Region 8 championship game, with a runner-up finish and a 21-4 record this past season for Coach Donovan Abbey. Chase, a 6'1" guard, averaged 24.1 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists this past season while being named to the Class B All-State Team. He was voted the Region 8 Boy's Basketball Senior Athlete of the Year. Grady, a 6' point guard, averaged 19.6 points and 3.7 assists while garnering All-Region 8 honors.
