Mystics Attempt to Win Season Matchup Against Thunderbirds

Going into the game, the Bismarck State College men’s basketball team and United Tribes Technical College had both gotten a victory against the other and looked to see who would come out on top to take the regular season bragging rights for the city of Bismarck.

The first half would see both teams staying right with each other, but in the second half the Thunderbirds would pull away, defeating the Mystics 84-70.

Isaiah Davis and Hussein Elmaraghy would again have strong games to keep the Mystics in the game. Coming off the bench, Elmaraghy would lead the team with 18 points and would pull down eight rebounds. Davis would have an impact all over the court as he gathered a team leading 12 rebounds, but also helping to spread the court by going 4 for 8 from the three-point line on his way to 17 points.

The Mystics have a record of 8-18 overall and 3-14 in conference. The Mystics host North Dakota State College of Science on February 15.
