Mystics Face Challenge On Sophomore Night

Bismarck State College men’s basketball team took on the top team in the Mon-Dak on Sophomore night for the Mystics. The Mystics would play a tough game against North Dakota State College of Science but could not keep up with the Wildcats, losing 63-83.

The Mystics would honor four sophomores on the night, including Isaiah Davis, Garrett Bader, Gavyn Strand, and Anthony Bertucci. Strand would stand out on sophomore night, giving the Mystics 14 points and grabbing six rebounds. Davis added 12 points on the night.

Hussein Elmaraghy would be the standout in the game for the Mystics as he led the team in points with 15 and rebounds with 8 for the Mystics.

The Mystics have a record of 8-19 overall and 3-15 in conference. The Mystics host Dawson Community College on February 18.
