Mystics Go Into Double Overtime To Secure Win

Bismarck State College men’s basketball team has been no stranger to playing in overtime, and against Lake Region State College they would need not one, but two overtimes to secure their 89-86 victory to end the regular season schedule.

Hussein Elmaraphy again would come off the bench and give the Mystics a double-double, leading the team in points with 22 and in rebounds with 14.

Garrett Bader would add 15 points to the win, playing a team leading 48 minutes. Raymond Brown would log the second most minutes in the game for the Mystics with 46 minutes, and having a key impact in those minutes, scoring 10 points, grabbing 5 rebound and dishing out four assists.

The Mystics finish the regular season with a record of 10-20 overall and 5-16 in conference.
