Mystics and Tetons With Double Overtime Thriller

Bismarck State College men’s basketball team fell behind by as many as 13 in the second half to Williston State College, and would need to make a run to get back into the game. Turning up the pressure on the defensive end would give the Mystics the run they needed, tying the game late in the second half, sending it into overtime.

One overtime wouldn’t be enough in this game, as the Mystics and Tetons would go to a second overtime. There the Tetons would pull away, winning the game 107-97.

For the Mystics, Isaiah Davis would have an outstanding game scoring 35 points, including a big three near the end of the second half to send the game into overtime. Davis would also add 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Hussein Elmaraghy would finish with a double-double, with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

The Mystics have a record of 8-16 overall and 3-12 in conference. The Mystics go on the road to face Dakota College at Bottineau on February 7.
