Strong First Half Propels Mystics To Win

Bismarck State College men’s basketball team came out strong in the first half against Miles Community College, and would keep the momentum going into the second half as the Mystics would defeat the Pioneers 91-69.

The Mystics’ success would come as a team effort, with six different Mystics scoring in double digits. Hussein Elmaraghy would lead the team with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Raymond Brown would lead the starters with 19 points while also leading the team with six assists.

Starters Isaiah Davis, Kennez Bozeman, and Garrett Bader would add 14, 11 and 10 points, respectively. Gavyn Strand would round out the list of scorers in double digits with 11 coming off the bench.

The Mystics have a record of 9-20 overall and 4-16 in conference. The Mystics finish up the regular season at home against Lake Region State College on February 25.
