Mystics Track and Field Shines at NDSU Tune-Up

Bismarck State College’s Track and Field teams continued their preparations for the NJCAA National Meet at the NDSU Tune-Up.

On the men’s team, standout performer Morgon Brindley clinched first place in the 800m race, clocking an impressive time of 2:00.35. Close behind, Ivar Martell secured a commendable fourth place with a time of 2:01.90, demonstrating the depth of talent within the team. In longer distances, Eric Hasby took fourth place in the 5000m race with a time of 16:15.58. In the field events, Juno Obenauer showed his ability to take sixth place in the discus throw with a distance of 44.82 meters and fifth in the shot put, reaching 14.33 meters.

The women’s team also had a strong showing, with Ava Stafford leading the way by securing a third place in the 1500m race with a time of 5:05.40. In the discus, Alison Hoff achieved 13th place with a throw of 34.88 meters. The javelin event saw Brynn Hyttinen and Mya Sheldon place eighth and tenth, respectively, with throws of 34.50 meters and 33.19 meters.
