BSC Competes in the Roy Griak Invitational

Bismarck State College’s men’s and women’s cross-country teams took part in the 37th annual Roy Griak Invitational held in Falcon Heights, Minn. Both teams would compete against colleges and universities from across the country.

In the men’s maroon 8k race, the Mystics showed their competitive spirit as a team, placing 27th. Eric Hasby emerged as the standout runner, finishing the race with a time of 27:38.5 and placing 97 out of 475 runners. Morgon Brindley also performed well, placing 176 with a time of 28:26.7.

The women’s maroon 6k race also saw the Mystics giving it their all. The team placed 37th, with Ava Stafford leading the pack, finishing the race with a time of 26:02.9 and placing 191 out of 391 runners.

Sept 29, the Mystics will compete in Bismarck at the Marauders-Mystics Invite.
