BSC Men Impress with First Place, Women Take Third

During their only home meet of the season, the cross-country teams of Bismarck State College had their strongest races of the season. The men’s team secured 1st place in the team results, while the women’s team earned a third-place finish.

The men’s team had four racers place in the top 10. Morgon Brindley set the pace for the Mystics, coming in 3rd, with a time of 26:32.73. Eric Hasby (5th), Ivar Martell (6th), and Brody Ferderer (8th) had powerful races to help get the team victory.

Ava Stafford had an outstanding race for the Mystics, placing 3rd overall with a time of 24:00.55. Kaitlyn Bancroft and Halle Wetsch also had good races with times of 28:40.03 and 28:46.19, respectively.

The Mystics compete in Jamestown in the Jimmy Invitation on Oct. 6.
