Bismarck State College is excited to announce April Lund as the new Head Coach of the Cross Country program. Lund, a well-respected leader in the Bismarck running community, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team.

Lund is no stranger to the running scene in Bismarck. In fact, in 2018, Lund established Bismarck's first running club, "Get You Sum" (GYS). Lund is also an accomplished runner herself, having competed in 5Ks, Half Marathons, and Marathons.

Additionally, Lund has experience as a Personal Trainer, which will undoubtedly benefit the team in terms of physical preparation and injury prevention.

Lund will be taking over for Jamison Dietrich, who recently accepted the Head Coaching position with Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA. Dietrich oversaw the first year Cross Country and Track and Field programs at Bismarck State College, which saw early success with representatives in the NJCAA National Cross Country meet and the NJCAA National Track and Field Championships.
