BSC Men’s Cross-Country Starts Strong

A freshman-heavy Bismarck State College men’s cross-country team showed off its potential in their first meet of the year by coming in 7th place at the Dragon Twilight. Competing against 10 other schools, all of which were four-year universities or colleges, the Mystics showed they are a team that can compete.

Five Mystics runners placed in the top 35 on their way to a score of 139. Eric Hasby lead the team, coming in 20th with a time of 19:23.20. While Ivar Martell and Morgon Brindley weren’t far behind, coming in 26th and 29th, with times of 19:31.70 and 19:34.60, respectively.

Sept 22 the Mystics will travel to St. Paul, Minn for the Roy Griak Invitational. Then on Sept 29, the Mystics will compete in Bismarck at the Marauders-Mystics Invite.
