Mystics Look To Defend Homecourt Against Pioneers

In their home stand, the Bismarck State College women's basketball team hosted Miles Community College. The Mystics would get things going early, jumping out to a four-point lead after the first quarter and increase that lead to ten at the half. The Pioneers would fight back in the second half and would overcome the Mystics, winning 79-72.

Brynlee Murdock would heat up in the game, hitting seven three-pointers on her way to scoring 27 points, and pulling down five rebounds. Harys Beauchamp would be the only other Mystics scoring in double digits, racking up 22 points of her own.

Carlie Lawrence made her impact on both ends of the court, dishing out a team leading six assists and three steals on the defensive end.

The Mystics have a record of 4-25 overall and 3-17 in conference. The Mystics complete their home stand, hosting Lake Region State College on February 25.
