The Bismarck State College women’s basketball team took to the road to face Miles Community College in a battle that would come down to the last seconds. In the final seconds, the Pioneers would have a chance to tie or take the lead, but the Mystics defense would take care of business and complete their road victory 73-71.

Leading the way for the Mystics was Mia Gehring, who led the team with 21 points, hitting seven of her eight shots from the field. Harys Beauchamp would also be key to the victory, adding 16 points and dishing out five assists, and totaling three steals.

The Mystics have a record of 4-18 overall and 3-10 in conference. The Mystics continue on the road on February 1, when they take on Dawson Community College.
