Mystics Defend Their Homecourt Against The Royals

Bismarck, N.D. – Bismarck State College's women's volleyball team continued their winning streak at the Mystic Invite on day two when they faced off against conference rivals Lake Region State College. The Mystics put up an impressive performance and clinched their second victory of the season with a 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-19) win. Their record now stands at 2-0, a strong start to the season.

The Royals were formidable opponents, however, the Mystics demonstrated their resilience and fought back to maintain their unbeaten run of six games to start the season. Breena Sand led the team with 10 kills, while Staci Kempenich collected 26 assists. Piper Harris played an integral role in the team's victory, leading the team with 17 digs, and Sand and Kempenich contributed 7 digs each.

The team will continue their campaign on Saturday at 4 p.m. when they face off against University of Jamestown JV. The Mystics are looking forward to the challenge and are determined to continue their winning streak.
