Bismarck, N.D. – The Bismarck State College Volleyball team returned to the court looking to start their defense of their Mon-Dak Conference and Region 13 titles. The Mystics came out strong to start the season defeating Northwest College 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21) on the first day of the Mystic Invite.

Paige McAllister would lead the Mystics with 9 kills on the night. Caton Pearcy and Emily DeGree would both add 8 kills for the Mystics. While Staci Kempenich would lead the team with 33 assists.

The Mystics play again Friday as they host Lake Region State College at 11 a.m. and Minnesota State Community and Technical College at 7 p.m.
