Looking to stay undefeated on the season, the Mystics would travel to face Dakota College at Bottineau, who was looking for their first win of the season. In the opening game the Mystics would stumble as the Jacks would take the first game and look to use that momentum. The Mystics would regroup and respond in the very next game, overpowering the Jacks and taking final three games to win the match 3-1 (21-25, 25-9, 25-16, and 25-10).

Chelsa Krom and Shaylee Bosch led the team in kills with 13 and 12 repectively. Staci Kempenich and Kayla Gibson would continue to steer the offense along as they would combine for 43 assists. Krom would also lead the team in blocks with 4 (1 solo, 3 assists).

The Mystics move to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference.

Next up the Mystics take to the road Sept 1st and 2nd for the Iowa Central Invite. Then on Sept 4th they resume conference play as they take on Miles City College.
