In just over a week, both the men’s and women’s cross-country teams from Bismarck State College will make their way to Huntsville, Alabama to compete in the NJCAA DII National cross-country championships, as well as the NJCAA Half Marathon Nationals.

For the women’s team, the goal has been to improve each day, building to this event. Ava Stafford will lead the team, and with powerful races all season long against many four-year colleges and universities, she will set out to make her mark against fellow JUCO runners.

Eric Hasby will anchor the men’s team, having recently earned the Runner of the Week honors after his performance at the Lancer Invitational. Like the women’s team, the men have raced more against four-year colleges and universities and look to put their skills to the test against two-year competition.

The NJCAA DII cross-country National meet will take place on November 11, while the NJCAA Half Marathon National event takes place on November 14, both occurring in Huntsville, Alabama.
