Bismarck State College freshman Jordan Derby earned her time in the Spotlight with a double-double Jan. 12 against Lake Region State College. The 6-foot-3 post came off the bench to score 14 points and grab 10 rebounds in an 83-68 Mon-Dak Conference win at the Armory. The win snapped the Royals' six-game winning streak. Derby made 6 of 11 shots from the floor and both of her free throws.
