BISMARCK, N.D. – Bismarck State College sophomore guard capped her sophomore campaign by claiming the top honor for women's basketball in the Mon-Dak Conference. Gustavsson was voted Mon-Dak Conference Most Valuable Player by conference coaches. Her sophomore teammate Ashton Kinnebrew was named first team all-Mon-Dak Conference as well.

A 5-7 sophomore guard/forward, Gustavsson led the conference in scoring during the regular season and was among leaders in rebounding and 3-point shooting. Kinnebrew wasn’t far behind in most categories. She averaged 20.3 points per game before the NJCAA Region XIII tournament got underway and averaged 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.5 steals. She shot 40 percent from the field and made 32 percent of her 3-point attempts. Gustavsson’s season highs were 34 points in an 88-87 loss to North Dakota State College of Science on Jan. 23 and 15 rebounds in a 66-53 win over Miles Community College on Feb. 20. 

The Mystics finished the season 16-12.
