Bismarck State College sophomore guard Sydney Gustavsson has been named Mon-Dak Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week.

The 5-7 sophomore guard from Mandan helped the Mystics win two games last week, including a 76-42 conference win over Dakota College at Bottineau. BSC has won its last five games. In two games, Gustavsson scored 36 points while shooting shot 50 percent from the field. She added 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. She is the leading scorer in the Mon-Dak Conference at 19.5 points per game.

The Mystics’ next game is Dec. 17 against tournament host Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
