Mystic Need Just Ten Innings to Sweep Double Header

The Bismarck State College baseball team wasted no time in putting away Dakota College at Bottineau, ending both games of the doubleheader by mercy rule in 5 innings.

In game 1 of the doubleheader, the Mystics would defeat the Lumberjacks 19-6. Tate Mart would show off his power, hitting two home runs in the game, driving in six total runs. Will Bachman would add a home run of his own, knocking in five runs.

Game 2 would be much of the same, as the Mystics would get the 12-1 win. Blake Urwin would go five innings, only allowing one run while striking out eight. Jared Bendfeld would provide on the offensive side, hitting a home run and driving in five runs.

The Mystics have a record of 17-5 overall, and 9-3 in conference.
