Bismarck State College is proud to announce that Cole Shirley, a standout freshman infielder, has been named the Mon-Dak Baseball Player of the Week.

Over the course of seven games last week, Shirley demonstrated remarkable skill and consistency, achieving an outstanding 14 hits in 21 at-bats, resulting in a batting average of .667. His on-base percentage was equally impressive at .810. Shirley's offensive production included 4 doubles, 1 triple, 3 runs scored, 10 RBIs, and 1 stolen base.

Shirley is currently leading Division II NJCAA Baseball with a batting average of .649. 

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, he is a graduate of Washburn High School.
