Bismarck State College baseball team celebrated a successful outing on the road, securing victories in two pivotal conference games against Lake Region State College.
In the first game of the series, the Mystics emerged victorious with a commanding 6-2 win. The triumph was anchored by an impressive performance from pitcher Alex Panitzke. Panitzke pitched six innings, allowing only one run while striking out five batters.
Offensively, the Mystics were led by Cooper Stahlman, who went 3 for 4 at the plate, with an RBI. Rydell Adair matched Stahlman with a 3 for 4 performance, driving in two runs and scoring once.
The second game saw the Mystics continue their winning momentum, securing a 5-3 victory. Andrew Niaves played a crucial role in the team’s success, going 2 for 4, driving in two runs, and scoring once. Tate Mart added to the scoreboard with a 1 for 2 performance, driving in one run and also scoring. Additionally, Cole Shirely rounded out the offense, as he added two hits and drove in one run.
