The Clay Dusters proudly represented at the 2024 Bison Blast, a shooting competition hosted by North Dakota State University in Horace, ND. The event saw participation from eight different colleges, bringing together approximately 100 skilled shooters to showcase their talents.
The Clay Dusters demonstrated remarkable skill and precision, securing a second place in the team trap category. Notably, standout shooter Kylie Thompson earned the title of 1st place female for Trap, achieving an outstanding score of 95 out of 100.
The competition was a platform for personal achievements as well. Tamika Holte celebrated a significant milestone by shooting her first 25 straight. Additionally, team members Noah Gange, Bryson Vannett, Kylie Thompson, and Tyler Fried each demonstrated their skill with 25 straights during the event. Gunnar Deaver delivered an exceptional performance, breaking 50 straight, further highlighting the team's exceptional talent.
Next up for the Clay Dusters, they travel to Alexandria, MN for the MCAC Clay Target Championship on October 15.
