After being at the helm of the cross-country program at Bismarck State College for the past two months, April Lund has now been named head coach of the track and field program.

“April brings a high level of passion and energy in everything she does. As a program we have seen her impact with our cross-country runners and look for her to have that same impact with our track and field athletes,” said Athletic Director Myron Schulz.

Under Lund, the cross-country program has achieved a lot of milestones, including the men’s team securing a first-place team result in the local Marauders Invite in September.

“BSC is where good athletes go to become great, and great athletes become champions and all-Americans. They do all of this while becoming awesome people inside and out,” said Lund.
