BSC Track and Field Run Up Against Four Year Schools

Even in the middle of winter, the Bismarck State College Track and Field team have been on the track competing. The team would travel to Grand Forks to match their skills up against runners from four-year colleges and universities in the region.

Tsitsi Karanda would have a strong showing for the Mystic runners, as she would win the women’s 600 meter race at a time of 1:37.60. Ava Stafford would also have a good day, finishing second in the women’s 5000 meter run with a time of 19:40.09.

On the men’s side, Nathan Mathern would finish second in the men’s 60 meter dash with a time of 6.94. Talen Farland would place fourth in the men’s 200 meter dash, finishing in a time of 22.16. In the 800 meter run, Morgon Brindley would give the Mystics another fourth place finish with his time of 1:58.92.
