The Bismarck State College men’s cross country team showcased their exceptional talent and determination by securing a commendable third-place finish at the highly competitive Marauders Invite. Demonstrating the team's development and preparations for nationals, the top five runners for the Mystics achieved personal records, marking a significant milestone in their season.
Leading the charge for the Mystics, Morgon Brindley delivered an impressive performance, finishing in 5th place with a time of 25:45.5. Close behind, Ivar Martell claimed 13th place with a time of 26:23.3, followed by Brody Ferderer in 16th place, clocking in at 26:26.2. Peyton Sims crossed the finish line in 21st place with a time of 26:54.7, and Justin Burud secured 26th place, posting a time of 27:44.8.
The Mystics are set to compete once more at Dawson Community College on October 24, providing an opportunity to further refine their skills before heading to the NJCAA National Cross Country meet on November 9.
