The bats were unstoppable for the Bismarck State College softball team as they would put up 21 runs in back-to-back games against Dakota College at Bottineau.
In the first game of the day, the Mystics would score in five consecutive innings, including a seven run second inning, and wouldn’t look back as they would win 21-1. Sophia Wood would get the win, only allowing the one run, while scattering just six hits. On the offensive side, Alexis Wesson, Elin Williams, and Daisy Sparrow would each hit a home run in the victory.
Game 2 would end up being much the same with the Mystics winning 21-5. Williams would have a lead the offense with three hits and would drive in six runs. Dominique Baker would add in three hits of her own, while driving in three.
The Mystics have a record of 10-15-1 overall and 4-8 in conference.
The Mystics return home to face Williston State College Saturday, April 13.
