Mystics Conclude Regular Season with Pair of Strong Victories

Bismarck State College concluded their regular season with two decisive victories over Dakota College at Bottineau.

In the opening game, the Mystics dominated the field, shutting out Dakota College with an 8-0 victory. Pitcher Caeleigh Goodman led the defensive effort with an outstanding performance, allowing just one hit and no runs over five innings. On the offensive front, Sophia Wood would go 2-2 with a double. Wood's efforts not only drove in a run but also saw her crossing the plate once herself.

The momentum continued in game two, where the Mystics triumphed with a 15-5 win. Halle Mattern's went 1-2, with a grand slam driving in four runs. Daisy Sparrow would also go yard in her 2-2 effort, driving in two runs and scoring three times. Elin Williams added to the offensive onslaught by going 2-3, driving in three runs, and scoring twice.

The Mystics have a record of 17-25-1 overall and 8-16 in conference.

The Mystics begin the postseason against Dakota County Technical College on Thursday May 2.
