Mystics Score 34 Runs To Claim Two Victories On The Day

The Bismarck State College softball team showcased their dominance today, earning dominant victories in both their games. In the first game against Dakota College at Bottineau, the team put on an offensive showcase, winning 21-4. Standout players Halle Mattern and Daisy Sparrow led the way for the Mystics, with Mattern going 3-5, scoring three runs, and bringing in three RBIs, while Sparrow was a perfect 3-3, including a home run. Pitcher Sophia Wood was instrumental in the victory, clinching the win with five strikeouts and only allowing three earned runs.

In the second game, the Mystics continued their winning streak by defeating Lake Region State College 13-5. The top three hitters in the lineup for the Mystics, Dominique Baker, Mattern, and Sparrow, combined for seven hits and nine RBIs. Jada Walter also made significant contributions with two hits and scoring two runs. Pitcher Maryn Jones delivered a stellar performance, earning the win while allowing only two earned runs.

The Mystics will be traveling to Florida to play eleven games from March 1 to March 6.
