Bismarck State College found themselves on the verge of losing their first conference match, being down two games to zero against Lake Region State College. With their backs against the wall, the Mystics refused to lose and would take the final three games and defeat the Royals 3-2 (21-25, 24-26, 25-22, 25-17 and 15-11).

Breena Sand would be key in the Mystics’ comeback, as she led the team in kills (21), and digs (26). Chelsa Krom and Emily DeGree would play strong at the net. Krom would be a part of 8 blocks and Degree would add in another 6.

Bismarck State College is 6-0 in conference and 11-4 overall.

Next up the Mystics will participate in the NDCSC Tournament in Wahpeton, N.D Sept 15 and 16.
